Christmas Around the World Project

This week we are doing a project about how people around the world celebrate Christmas. Our students are making a traveling suitcase that will show case everything that they are learned about the different countries. We did the countries of Africa, Mexico, Sweden, Australia, Thailand, China, and Israel. We plan on having a tasting party at the end of the week to let the students taste the different types of food that comes from the countries we are learning about. Here are the examples that we made to show the students.

We folded and cut brown envelopes to make the suitcase. Everything else was glued onto the suitcase.
Here is the website that you can go to to get some of the print outs that we used.

If you have any questions please let us know. We will upload other resources with this project later this week.

This is the cover of the suitcase.

This is the back of the suitcase.

Inside there is a place for the student's passport, world map, and a Christmas tree with different ways to say "Merry Christmas".
